| Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project, Fairfax & Loudoun Counties, VA

Bringing Metrorail Out to Washington-Dulles International Airport This transportation improvement project involves the study, design and construction, of a metro rail along the Dulles Toll Road Corridor. In support of the study and design, the Dulles Division of AERO-METRIC, Inc. is providing photogrammetric mapping and related services. The survey covers approximately 24 miles beginning at the project’s connection point at I-66 and ending in Loudoun County at Route 772.

The aerial survey covers a 500’ wide section along the right of way centered on the present track alignment. The mapping corridor was compiled at a scale of 1”=40’ with a one foot (1’) contour interval. The survey complies with the requirements of WMATA’s Manual of Technical Specification and Requirements for Survey Services Contract FY 2004.
