SALES

LOCATION: Sheboygan, WI
JOB DESCRIPTION: Aero-Metric is seeking one or more experienced sales representatives having a background in delivering surveying, GIS, photogrammetry, and/or aerial imagery services or as a user of mapping products within select markets (engineering, utilities, mining, transportation, federal-state-local governments, military). Needs strong interpersonal skills and requires an ability to evaluate client's project requirements, provide cost estimates, develop proposals, negotiate project fees and bring projects to completion.
REQUIREMENTS: Good writing skills and use of internet tools and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. Travel is a requirement, but relocation may not be required if currently located strategically in or near one of these sales region states (FL, GA, IL, TN, IN, KY, OH, WI). Two positions report to the WI office, other locations may include VA and WA.

TECHNICAL

Lidar Special Lead
LOCATION: Sheboygan, WI
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of projects within the scope of the lidar department workflow, oversee assigned staff, provide technical guidance, monitor staff performance, and provide direct oversight of the lidar acquisition including flight planning, lidar processing, classification, and scheduling. Other responsibilities will include managing budget, schedule and quality for lidar projects, overseeing project estimates and departmental tasks, effectively communicating with Project Managers on project issues and coordinate with other leads to transfer data and information, and completing continual evaluation of workflows, technical strategies and alternative solutions to improve performance, throughput and quality. This position will be assigned to first shift. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of two years management experience in a similar role or minimum one year experience managing aerial acquisition field operations. BA or BS, preferably in related field. Will substitute five years industry experience for education. Candidates must posess a knowledge of lidar acquisition systems (hardware and software); data processing – AGPS/IMU, lidar and digital imagery; basic understanding of geodesy, surveying and data transformations; lidar flight planning; lidar classification software; and posess strong skills in other computer programs. Must also have the ability to effectively communicate, multitask, and organize.

Photogrammetric Technician
LOCATION: Anchorage, AK
JOB DESCRIPTION: Full time Photogrammetric Technician is needed to operate a softcopy stereo plotter. The successful candidate will utilize a softcopy stereo plotter using Eagle Point software in AutoCad to collect accurate 3D mapping detail from aerial photography or satellite imagery. Job responsibilities may also include orthophoto rectification, image color balancing and mosaicking, aerial triangulation, DEM collection using manual and automated techniques, volumetric analysis from digital terrain data, and other tasks related to aerial photography or satellite imagery.
REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 2 years experience or training in AutoCad software is required. Familiarity with cartographic design, production and automated software tools is desired. Experience with aerial mapping and any associated product is a plus. The ability to see stereo (3D) is a must.  Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and be a team player. High school diploma required. Some college in related fields such as geomatics, surveying or physical sciences desired.

Geospatial Technician
LOCATION: Dulles, VA
JOB DESCRIPTION: Support geospatial intelligence operations. Candidate will analyze geospatial data from imagery and other sources. Apply knowledge of geography and remote sensing to create geographical databases. Candidates will be required to obtain a security clearance.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or equivalent training in the physical and computer sciences. Background in photogrammetry and/or cartography and computer programming are preferred. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and BAE SOCET SET a plus.
