Proposal Administrative Assistant
LOCATION: Anchorage, AK
JOB DESCRIPTION: Initial duties will be to support project planning, estimating, proposal generation, flight packet preparation for photography and /or lidar, coordination with production staff, and client interface. Successful candidate will also create and prepare marketing materials and coordinate, attend, and oversee booth at trade shows and conferences. This position may also require some travel.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required. Production, management, or marketing experience in geospatial disciplines desired.  Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must have extensive knowledge in PC-computers and programs including MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.  Experience with Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite Programs is a plus. Candidate must also possess the ability to learn new software programs such as for flight planning. Must be a self-starter, be able to pay attention to details, and possess the ability to multitask.

• Business Development Representative
LOCATION: Maple Grove, MN
JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking experienced sales representative having a background in delivering surveying, GIS, photogrammetry, and/or aerial imagery services or as a user of mapping products within select markets (engineering, utilities, mining, transportation, federal-state-local governments, military). Needs strong interpersonal skills and requires an ability to evaluate client's project requirements, provide cost estimates, develop proposals, negotiate project fees and bring projects to completion.
REQUIREMENTS: Good writing skills and use of internet tools and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.

LOCATION: Sheboygan, WI

TECHNICAL

Geospatial Services Account Manager
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
JOB DESCRIPTION: The principal responsibility of the Account Manager is to develop appropriate, long-term professional relationships with clients and to secure professional service contracts for mapping and related services. Additional responsibilities include prospecting, presentations, cost estimating, and proposal writing. The Account Manager participates in sales meetings, attends conferences, staffs exhibits, tracks opportunities, prepares sales pipeline reports and assists the Senior Account Manager with forecasting. Frequent travel will be necessary for success as will occasional weekend and evening work.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a proven ability to generate leads, define and present technical solutions, negotiate terms and conditions, and close sales. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong knowledge of surveying and mapping. Good skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. The ability to write clear, concise, grammatically correct letters, proposals, and related documents is also essential.

• Geomatics Engineer
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
JOB DESCRIPTION: The principal responsibility of the Geomatics Engineer is to assist the production manager in moving work through the Seattle production facility and ensuring its conformance to technical specifications and schedule requirements. This position will involve the following subtasks: Assist flight staff by providing training and quality checking in use of positioning, navigation, and sensor control programs; process and QC airborne GPS, GPS/IMU, and lidar data; assist in photogrammetric stereo-compilation staff with training and quality checking in aerial triangulation, collection, and processing programs; assist and train graphics staff from implementation and application, through QC of scanning and image processing as well as for translation, vector data, lidar point cloud, and image processing and editing programs; assist or provide IT, LAN, and data archiving support; assist in the development of macros and batch routines as directed by the production manager; fill in during absence of the production manager to supervise staff, coordinate subcontractors, monitor production and delivery schedules, lead production meetings and project kick-off meetings, and prepare internal and external reports; act as project manager for selected projects; assist business development staff to ensure technical soundness of technical presentations, project concepts and accuracy of estimates; assemble or quality check initial project synopses and materials.
REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must have a solid background in mathematics, geodesy, photogrammetric concepts, and computer science as well as in basic programming such as MDL and VBA for MicroStation and AutoCAD. Four year surveying engineering or similar degree or equivalent experience. Registration as a PE, PLS, is desirable but not essential. The ability to obtain ASPRS Photogrammetrist certification is important.
